Configuring Bridge MIB Extensions
Configuring Bridge MIB Extensions
The Bridge MIB includes extensions for managed devices that support Traffic Classes, Multicast Filtering and Virtual LANs. To configure these extensions, use the Extended Bridge Configuration screen as shown below:
Bridge Capability
Parameter | Description |
|
|

Filtering Services | addresses based on GMRP (GARP Multicast Registration Protocol). Note |
| that this function is not implemented in the current firmware release. |
Traffic Classes | Indicates that the switch provides mapping of user priorities to multiple traffic |
| classes. (Refer to the Priority menu on page |
Static Entry Individual | Indicates that the switch allows the static filtering of unicast and multicast |
Port | addresses. (Refer to the Address Table Configuration on page |
VLAN Learning | This switch uses Independent VLAN Learning (IVL), whereby each port |
| maintains its own VLAN filtering database. |

PVID Tagging | VLAN ID used in frame tags) and its egress status |
| Untagged) on each port. (Refer to VLAN Port Configuration on page |
