Replacing the Power-Button Board

Procedure
1Align the screws holes on the power-button board with the screw holes on the palm-
rest assembly.
2Replace the screws that secure the power-button board to the palm-rest assembly.
3Connect the power-button board cable to the system-board connector.
Postrequisites
1Replace the center control cover. See "Replacing the Center Control Cover" on
page 29.
2Replace the base cover. See "Replacing the Base Cover" on page 15.
3Replace the battery pack. See "Replacing the Battery Pack" on page 13.
4Follow the instructions in "After Working Inside Your Computer" on page 11.
