Replacing the Video Card(s)

Procedure
1Insert the video card connector at a 45-degree angle into the connector on the
system board.
2Press the other end of the video-card down into the slot on the system board and
replace the screws that secure the video-card(s) to the system board.
Postrequisites
1Replace the video card heat-sink(s). See "Replacing the Video-Card Heat-Sink(s)" on
page 72.
2Follow the instructions from step 2 to step 5 in Replacing the Palm Rest.
3Replace the dispaly assembly. See “Replacing the Display Assembly” on page 48.
4Replace the macro keyboard. See “Replacing the Macro Keyboard” on page 38.
5Replace the keyboard. See “Replacing the Keyboard” on page 35.
6Replace the center control cover. See "Replacing the Center Control Cover" on
page 29.
7Replace the base cover. See "Replacing the Base Cover" on page 15.
