Airflow Switch

The airflow switch is set at the factory for proper operation. No adjustment necesary. Refer to Figure 22.

IMPORTANT: Airflow switch vane must remain closed during operation. If it opens and closes during the drying cycle, this indicates insufficient airflow through the tumbler. If the switch remains open, or pops open and closed during the cycle, the heating system will shut off. The cylinder and fan will continue to operate even though the airflow switch is indicating insufficient airflow.

Adjustments

Loading Door SwitchNon-CE Marked Models

The door switch should be adjusted so that the cylinder stops whenever the door is opened a maximum of

3 inches (76.2 mm). A switch is provided inside of the front panel to govern this operation. The switch is activated by an adjustable screw on the upper hinge of the loading door. The screw contacts the switch arm. If adjustments are required, refer to Figure 23 and proceed as follows:

1.Slightly loosen the nut on the door switch activator screw.

2.Using a 5/64 inch hex wrench, turn the door switch activator screw in or out slightly as required.

3.Open the door and check the amount of door opening before shutdown occurs. If not proper, repeat steps 1 and 2.
