The DHA-S690 can also be operated from the ALPINE Ai-NET compatible head unit.

Refer to the manual of the head unit.

Note that some of the functions cannot be operated from the DHA-S690.

Functions operable from the head unit

Switches the audio source.

 

Turns the DHA-S690 power ON in the DVD changer

 

or CD changer mode.

 

Turns OFF in a mode other than main DVD changer

 

or CD changer.

TITLE

Switches the display pattern of the head unit.

 

 

 

Repeat switching.

 

 

 

CD/MP3/WMA/AAC: M.I.X. play switching.

fStarts playback from the beginning of the following chapter/track.

When pressed and held on, fast-forwards the disc.

gStarts playback from the beginning of the current chapter/track.

When pressed and held on, fast-reverses the disc.

Switches between play and pause.

 

MP3/WMA/AAC: Returns to the previous folder.

 

MP3/WMA/AAC: Forwards to the next folder.

Changes the disc.

Adjusts the volume.

Playing DVDs, video CDs, CDs and MP3/WMA/AAC

1 Press SOURCE to select the DVD changer or CD changer mode.

DVD changer or CD changer mode:

The power of the DHA-S690 turns ON and playback starts automatically.

Other modes:

The power of the DHA-S690 turns off automatically.

2 To set the pause mode, press -/ J.

Press -/ J again to resume playback.

For video CDs with playback control (PBC), turn PBC off.

The disc name, track name, and other information can be displayed on the display of the head unit for music CDs that support CD text. This can only be used with alphanumeric text.

For details, refer to the Owner’s Manual of the head unit.

In the case of MP3/WMA/AAC, tag information (disc/artist name etc.) can be displayed. Refer to the Owner ,s Manual of the head unit for details. Tag information cannot be displayed on some head units.
