PRESETS A

Progr amm ing a Cook/Smo ke Program

Select the product to be progra mme d and beg in progr amming with the oven control power OFF . Press and release control ON/OFF key. The oven will beep for one secon d and power to the unit will be indicated by an illumin ated green indicator light located in the upper lef t corner of the ON/OFF key. The oven will begin operatin g in the hold mod e. The amber HOLD indic ator wil l be ill umi nat ed and the last set hold temper ature will be disp layed.

Pre ss H OLD Ke y. To change the hol d temperatu re, press the UP or DOWN ARROW Key.

Press COOK Key. Oven preheat indicator will illuminate and the last set cooki ng temp erature is displayed. To change the cook temperatu re, press the UP or DOWN ARROW Keys.

To cook by time — press the TIME Key. Last set coo king time is displaye d.

To change the set time, press the UP or DOWN ARROW Key. The green TIME indicator will illuminate.

To cook by probe — press the PROBE Key. Last set intern al produ ct temper atur e is display ed. To chang e the set temperature, press the UP or DOWN ARROW Key. The green PROBE indicato r will illumi nate.

Press SMOK ER Key . To set the smoke time des ired, use UP or DOWN ARROW key. The last set time wil l be displayed.

The oven preheat indic ator will illuminate. Oven is now in the prehea t mod e and is automatically progra mme d to preheat to the cook temper ature.

Select a letter code for the product programmed by the previous steps. Press and hold the selected PRESET key until you hear a brief, four second beep. The letter key program indicator light will illuminate and the product programmed is now stored in memory for the specific letter key pressed. Additional programs can be stored in the remaining PRESET Keys if not previously programmed. Note: The last PRES ET Key use d will be the oven cooki ng run seq uence for the next produ ct to be programme d. Set tings can be manu ally changed for the next produc t and an altern ate pre-programmed letter key selecte d.

IMPORTANT - Aft er program ming a spe cific product into memory in a progra mmable pre set key, it is very importan t to make a writte n perm anent record of the product and the progr am letter assign ed . Menu car d (PE-233 84) is provided for this purpose.
