Screen icons

										Battery status - battery is charging (animated display).
										Battery status - battery is charging (animated display).




										Battery status - low battery (flashing); place handset in
										telephone base or charger to recharge.

										Speakerphone - the speakerphone is in use.

										Ringer off - the handset ringer is off.

										New voicemail - you have new voicemail from your
										telephone service provider.

	ANS ON									Answering system is on.

										Message - new message in the built-in answering system.

	NEW									New or missed calls.
	MUTE									Microphone is off.
				MSG #						Message counter - number of message playing/total
			1/2							number of messages.

Handset alert tones

One short beep	Tone of each key press if key tone is turned on.

One long beep	Indication to begin recording a message, memo or announcement.

Two short beeps	You are pressing the qCID or pDIR keys on the telephone base or
	qCID/-VOLUMEor pDIR/VOLUME+ on a cordless handset when the
	volume is already at its highest or lowest setting.
	-OR-
	Call waiting tone.
	-OR-
	Error tone.

Three beeps	Out of range while the handset is on a call.

Confirmation tone	The system has completed the command successfully.
(Three rising tones)

Four beeps	The other party has ended your intercom call.

Four short beeps	Low battery warning.

Telephone base tones

Three beeps	/HANDSET LOCATOR is pressed.
	/HANDSET LOCATOR is pressed.

Beeps every 10 seconds	Message alert.

Fast ringer tone	You are setting the ringer volume by pressing the pqVOLUME
	keys on the telephone base.
