Screen icons

	The handset is in use.

Handset alert tones

Two short beeps	The volume level is at the maximum or minimum setting.
Four short beeps	Low battery warning.
Two beeps	Out of range from the telephone base while on a call.
Confirmation tone	Command completed successfully.

Telephone base tones

One beep every 10 Message alert feature is on and indicating that you have new messages. seconds

Indicator lights

CHARGE/IN USE

•Flashes when another tele- phone on the same line or one of the handsets is in use.

•Flashes when the answer- ing system is answering an incoming call.

•Flashes during an incoming call’s ringing.

•On steady when the hand- set is properly positioned to charge in the telephone base.

ANSWER ON

On when answer- ing system is on and ready to receive calls.

CHARGE

On when handset is charging in the charger.

SPEAKER

On when speakerphone is in use.
