Dynamic Routing

The dynamic routing function of the router can be used to allow the router to automatically adjust to physical changes in the network’s layout. The router uses the dynamic RIP protocol. It regularly broadcasts routing information to other routers on the network. Choose the protocol ─ RIP1, RIP2, or RIP1+RIP2 ─ you want the router to use to transmit / receive data on / from the network.

Static Routing

If you have another router with a LAN-to-LAN connection, you may create a static routing on the router that is the gateway to Internet. After you check the “Enable” radio button, the following figure will appear.
