Software Installation
Client Requirements and R ecommendations 1
The client workstation must be able to run a supported web browser. CentreVu
Explorer has been tested with Microsoft Internet Explorer 3.01 and Netscape
Navigator* 3.0. However, any hypertext markup language (HTML) 2.0 compliant
browser will work.
The following configuration is recommended for running CentreVu Explorer from a
PC:
Pentium central processing unit (CPU) or better
90 megahertz (MHz) or higher
16 MB of RAM or better
Mouse
Web browser (HTML 2.0 compliant)
An Ethernet LAN card
Windows 95 or Windows NT workstation
VGA monitor or better. (A terminal with a resolution of 1024 X 768
video resolution or higher makes viewing data easier.)

Note: The following instructions describe how to install CentreVu Explorer.
These instructions can also be used to upgrade CentreVuExplorer from 1.1
to 1.2. However, CentreVuExplorer 1.0 cannot be upgraded. Contact the
Lucent TSO for information on how to upgrade CentreVuExplorer 1.0.
