Video can be viewed in five resolutions (up to 4CIF), and image compression is configurable. The AXIS 243Q Blade contains support for video motion detection, which allows the unit to trigger activity in the video image, and advanced scheduling tools which can also be used to trigger an event. As the AXIS 243Q Blade is designed for use in security systems, it is equipped with several security features, such as IP address filtering, user levels with passwords, and HTTPS.
