14.5.3 Setting the Interface Standard

How to set up the Interface standard

1. From theSerial Communication menu, select the INTERFACE STANDARDitem. (menu14-20)

Interfacestandard, between br ackets,is activeand can be changed.

2. Use ENTER button or selection Wheel as toggle switch to enter the required interface standard RS232 or RS422.

Ifthe Interface standard RS422 has been chosen, then, the item RS422 TERMINATIONhas to be set too.

3. From the Serial Communication menu, select the RS422 TERMINATION item. (menu14-21)

Note: RS422Termination: in case more ACSAR units are chained, then, the last one in the chain has to be terminated.

RS422 Terminationstatus, between brackets, is active and can be changed.

4. Use ENTER button or selection Wheel as toggle switch to enter the RS422 Termination status to ON or OFF.

Ifthe Interface standard RS422 has been chosen, then, the item RS422 TERMINATIONhas to be set too.
