15. Image Alignment
How to adjust the Input Balance
Alwaysstart with the BLACK balance adjustment if a dominant color has been observed in both areas.
1. From the Picture tuning menu, s elect item INPUT BALANCE. (menu 15-10)
TheInput Balance menu appears on-screen and in the graphical display. This menu contains 2 items, viz. WHITEand BLACK
BALANCE. (menu 15-11)
2. From theInput Balance menu, select item BLACK B ALANCE andpress ENTER or selection wheel to confirm.
The Black Level RED bar scale appears on-screen and in the graphical display.
Adjustment:
Changingfrom Black Level RED to BLUE bar scale, press respectively once cursor key ↑or →.

• Press the cursor keys ←or →to display the Black Level
RED bar scale.
• Press the cursor keys ←or →to adjust the RED level in
the darkar eas ofthe image.
•PressEXITto re turn.
WithRemote control

• Press the cursor keys ↑or ↓to display the Black Level
BLUE bar scale.
• Press the cursor keys ↑or ↓to adjust the BLUE level in
the darkar eas ofthe image.

Withselection wheel • Atstart up, Black Lev elRED barscale is displayed.
• Rotateselection wheel to adjust the RED level in the dark areas of the image.
• Pressselection w heel to display Black Level BLUE bar scale.
• Rotateselection wheel to adjust the BLUE level in the dark areas of the image.
• Presss electionwheel to confirm and return.
• Torepeat steps, press selection wheel again.
3. From theInput Balance menu, select item WHITE BALANCE and press ENTER or selection wheel to confirm.
The White Level RED bar scale appears on-screen and in the graphical display.
Adjustment:
Changingfrom White Level RED to BLUE bar scale, press respectively once cursor key ↑or →.
