Setting the clock time
The clock can be set automatically us- ing the RDS signal. You can also set the clock manually if you cannot receive a radio station that supports this feature.
Setting the clock automatically
To set the clock automatically,
➮press the MENU button 9.
➮Press the softkey 5 assigned to the “CLOCK” display item.
➮Repeatedly press the softkey 5 assigned to the “AUTOSYNC” dis- play item until “AUTOSYNC ON” appears in the display.
“AUTOSYNC ON” means that the clock is set automatically using the RDS sig- nal.
Setting the clock manually
➮To set the clock, press the MENU button 9.
➮Press the softkey 5 assigned to the “CLOCK” display item.
➮Press the softkey 5 assigned to the “TIME” display item.
The hours and minutes are displayed in the top line of the display. The hours flash.
➮Adjust the hours by moving the joy- stick 8 up or down.
To adjust the minutes,
➮press the joystick 8 to the right. The minutes flash.
➮Adjust the minutes by moving the joystick 8 up or down.
➮Press the joystick OK 8 or the MENU button 9 to close the menu.
The settings are saved.
Setting the date
To set the date,
➮press the MENU button 9.
➮Press the softkey 5 assigned to the “CLOCK” display item.
➮Press the softkey 5 assigned to the “DATE” display item.
The year (YY), month (MM) and day
(DD)appear in the top line of the dis-
play.
The input position for year flashes.
➮Set the year (e.g. “04” for 2004) by moving the joystick 8 up or down.
➮Move the joystick 8 to the right to switch the input position to month.
➮Set the month by moving the joy- stick 8 up or down.
➮Press the joystick 8 to the right to switch the input position to day.
➮Set the day by moving the joystick 8 up or down.
➮Press the joystick OK 8 or the MENU button 9 to close the menu.
The settings are saved.
