USB Folder

WAV and AIFF files loaded to the BR-600’s tracks, and
WAV and AIFF files saved on computers (track data
converted to WAV and AIFF format) will be saved here
(p. 167, p. 170, p. 180, p. 182).

Folders and files created on memory

cards are displayed on the computer

screen.

When you continue with an operation, the “BOSS_BR-600”
icon is added in the computer screen.
* With certain versions of Windows OS, the “Removable disk
(*:)” icon may be displayed.

When you click the “BOSS_BR-600” icon (or the
“Removable disk (*:)” icon), or double-click the “BOSS_BR-
600” icon on the Macintosh, the “ROLAND” folder is
displayed.
Open this folder to show the “BR0” folder, the
“TONELOAD” folder, the “SMF” folder, and the “USB”
folder.

* Purchase USB cables at computer stores or other retailers.

Do not perform any of the following actions while the BR-
600 is connected via USB.
These operations may result in your computer not
responding to the data.
Data on memory cards may also be corrupted.
Do not :
Disconnect the USB cable
Eject the memory card
Put the computer in suspended (standby) mode or
hibernation, restart, or quit
Turn off the BR-600’s power

When Using Windows XP/2000

If using Windows XP/2000, log on to Windows as one of
the following users :
Administrator or other user with the privileges of the
Administrators group
A user whose account type is Computer
Administrator
Note that you will not be able to properly quit the USB
connection if the user name is not one of those described
above.
