ePlace the presser foot to be installed below the holder so that the presser foot pin is aligned with the notch in the holder.
Position the presser foot so the letter indicating the presser foot type (J, A, etc.) is positioned to be read.

fSlowly lower the presser foot lever so that the presser foot pin snaps into the notch in the presser foot holder.

gRaise the presser foot lever to check that the presser foot is securely attached.
Removing the presser foot holder
Remove the presser foot holder when cleaning the sewing machine or when installing the optional walking foot.
aRemove the presser foot.

bLoosen the presser foot holder screw, and then remove the presser foot holder. Turn the screwdriver counterclockwise.
