12 - 21 TROUBLESHOOTING AND ROUTINE MAINTENANCE

Lift the scanner cover to release the lock. Gently push the

scanner cover support down an d close the scanner cover.

Unplug the machine from the telephone wall socket and remove

the telephone line cord from ma chine.

Unplug the machine from the electrical socket.

Unplug the USB cable or LAN cable from the machine, if it is

connected.

If your machine has a ha ndset, remove it and t he handset curled

cord.

Wrap the machine in the bag and pl ace it in the original carton

with the original packing material.
