Setting the Ring Delay
The Ring Delay sets the num ber of times the machine ri ngs before it
answers in Fax Only, Fax/Tel and TAD:Msg Mg r modes. If you
have extension phones on the same line as the machine or subscribe
to the telephone company’ s BT Call Sign service, keep the Ri ng
Delay setting of 4.

If it is not illuminated in green, press (Fax).

Press Menu/Set, 2, 1, 1.

Press ▲ or ▼ to select Ring Delay.
Press Menu/Set.

Press ▲ or ▼ to select how many
times the line rings bef ore the machine answe rs (00-04 UK only)
(00-05 Nordic countries only).
Press Menu/Set.
(If you select 00, the line w on’t ring at all.)

Press Stop/Exit.
Toll Saver must be Off to use the Ring Delay setting.
