Printing a reduced incoming fax (Auto Reduction)
If you choose On, the machine automatically reduces an incoming
fax to fit on one page of A4 , Letter or Legal size p aper. The machine
calculates the reductio n ratio by using the page si ze of the document
and your Paper Size setting ( Menu/Set, 1, 3).

If it is not illuminated i n green, press (Fax).

Press Menu/Set, 2, 1, 5.

Use ▲ or ▼ to select On (or Off).
Press Menu/Set.

Press Stop/Exit.
Receiving a fax at the end o f a conversation
At the end of a conversation you can ask the other party to fax you
information before you b oth hang up.

Ask the other party to place the document in their machine and
to press Start or Send key.

When you hear the other machine’s CNG tones (be eps), press
Mono Start or Colour Start.

If you picked up the handset, replace it.
■Turn on this setting if y ou receive faxes that ar e split onto two
pages. However, if the docu ment is too long the machine
may still print it on two pages.
■If left and right margins are cut off, turn on this setting.
