7.Place the retaining clips into the holes in the Fusing Unit and secure them with the two screws.

8.Release the Fusing unit by pushing the Pressure Release Levers to the OPEN position (￿). Remove the orange protective parts fitted between the rollers of the Fusing Unit (￿). Make sure that the Pressure Release Levers are put back to the SET position. .

9.Install the Fuser Cleaner and the Oil Bottle into the new Fusing Unit and Lock the Oil Bottle Lock Levers. Be careful not to spill oil inside the printer. This could damage the printer.

10.Close the Top Cover.

11.Plug the printer into the AC outlet.

Note

If the condition of the Fuser Cleaner is poor, we recommend that you replace the Fuser Cleaner at the same time as the Fusing Unit. The life counter for the Fuser Cleaner will also need to be reset. Please refer to page 5-10 for instructions.

Partially used Oil Bottles can be reused with a new Fusing Unit.

Please wait for 30 minutes after installing a new Fusing Unit to allow the oil to circulate completely through the Heat Roller.
