1.Mida la distancia entre los distintos agujeros del botón y selec- cione el ancho de la puntada apropiado mediante el selector de ancho de puntada. Por ejemplo, si la distancia entre los agujeros es de 1,5 mm (1/16"), ponga el ancho de puntada en “1,5”.

2.Instale el prensatelas para el cosido de botones.

3.Coloque la placa de zurcido en la placa de la aguja.

(Cuando la máquina está equipada con una palanca de alimen- tación de bajada, baje los ganchos de alimentación colocando la palanca de alimentación de bajada en la posición hacia arriba).

4.Coloque un botón entre el prensatelas y el tejido, y asegúrese de que la aguja pase por los agujeros sin picar el botón. Si golpea el botón véase el 1er paso.

5.Cosa unas 10 puntadas a baja velocidad.

6.Retire el tejido de la máquina. Corte los hilos inferior y superior y haga un nudo con ambos en el revés del tejido.

1.Mesurer la distance entre les orifices et définir la largeur de point appro- priée à l’aide du sélecteur de largeur de point. Par exemple, si la dis- tance entre les orifices est de 1,5 mm, régler la largeur de point sur 1,5.

2.Installer le pied pour boutons.

3.Placer la plaque à repriser sur la plaque à aiguille.

(Lorsque la machine est équipée d'un levier d'abaissement des griffes d'entraînement, abaisser les griffes en relevant le levier).

4.Placer un bouton entre le pied et le tissu et veiller à ce que l’aiguille pique dans les trous sans heurter le bouton. Si elle heurte le bouton, veuillez vous reporter au point 1.

5.Coudre environ 10 points à faible vitesse.

6.Retirer le tissu de la machine. Couper les fils inférieur et supérieur puis les nouer sur l’envers du tissu.
