Maintenance
General
Simply clean the Diverse 2011 and
base station with a damp cloth or an
antistatic wipe. Never use a dry cloth
as this may cause a static shock.

Outside the warranty period

it must be repaired so as to remain

telephone network.
We recommend that you call the

and you will be advised of our
recommended repair agents.
If you have to return your Diverse
2011 pack it securely, preferably in
the original packaging including all
parts of the product, i.e. the battery,
power adaptor etc. We can not take
responsibility for goods damaged in
transit.
Emergency Calls
The emergency services can be
contacted in the UK by dialling 999
or 112which is valid in any country
that is a member of the European
community.
If your Diverse base station is
connected to a switchbo ard, you m ay
have to dial an access number before
999or 112 to contact the emergency
services. Some switchboards cannot
dial out during a power failure.
Battery performance
Batteries become warm dur ing
charging. This is normal and not
dangerous. As charging is controlled
electronically by the Diverse 2011,
this means you can replace the
handset back on the base s tation o r
charger at any time without
overcharging.
Under ideal conditions, the handset
batteries should give about 7 hours
talktime or 60 hours standby on a
single charge (both standby and talk
time is reduced for the Diverse 2000
Executive Handset to approximately
50 hours standby and 6 hours
talktime). However, new NiCad
batteries do not reach their full
capacity un til they have been in
normal use for several days.
