Entering text

A single text can be up to 160 characters.

Standard text entry

With standard text entry you can enter a word by pressing each letter button a number of times to display the character you want on the screen. For example, to write the word

“Hello”, press twice, twice, three times,

three times and three times.

Writing tips for text entry

1.If you make a mistake, press to delete the last character

or digit to the left of the cursor. Press and hold to delete a string of text.

2.If the message is longer than 12 digits, the or symbol will be displayed to denote hidden text. If is displayed,

press to view the hidden text or if is displayed, press

to view the hidden text.

3.Press and release to insert a space.

4.To enter a number, keep pressing the required number button until the number is displayed.

5.To enter the phonebook, press .
