46 Text messaging

The last message sent will be saved and displayed when you next go to write a message.

If a message fails to send, Send Fail will be displayed.

Press Menu . Press Menu again to confirm.

Forward – to forward the message to another number. Press Menu . The message is displayed. Press Menu .

Either enter the number you want to send to using the keypad and press Menu .

Or, press to open the phonebook and scroll or

to search for the name you want and press Menu . Press Menu again to send the message.

Details – to view the number the message was received from and date and time the message was received.

Press Menu . Then use	or	to scroll through the
message details.

6. Press repeatedly to exit and return to standby.

Service Centre numbers

To send and receive text messages you need the telephone number of your Network’s text Centre. These numbers have already been pre-programmed into your BT Elements phone.
