If you accidentally delete the SEND or RECEIVE Service Centre numbers you will need to re-enter them in order for your text service to work.

Your BT Elements phone can store 2 SEND Service Centre numbers and 2 RECEIVE Service Centre numbers.

The pre-programmed SEND Service number is: 1470P1709400.

The pre-programmed RECEIVE Service number is: 080058752.

Adding or changing Service Centre numbers

1.Press Menu to open the main menu.

2.Press or until SMS is displayed, then press Menu .

3.Press or until SMS Settings is displayed and press Menu .

4.Press or until Send Center or Rcv Center is displayed and press Menu .

5.Use or to display either Send 1/Receive 1 or

Send 2/Receive 2 and press Menu .

6.Either enter the server number and press Menu .

If you have more than one ‘Server Centre’ stored on your BT Elements phone you will need to select which one you want to use for sending (see next section).
