1. Remote control sensor
An IR sensor is situated behind the front window.
This receives IR commands from the supplied remote, Apple
remotes or Cambridge Audio Azur Navig ator ‘iPod-
compatible’ remotes.
A clear and unobstructed line of sight between the remote
control and the sensor is required.
2-3. Status LED’s
Two status LED’s are visibl e through the front IR win dow
indicating the status as follows:
2 (Left blue LED)
Dim indicates Standby.
Bright Indicates Operation.
3 (Right blue LED)
Off indicates no iPod connected
Bright indicates iPod connected.
Slow flash indicates sync in progress
Flashing when remote control used indicates reception
of IR codes.
4. Docking adaptors
Fit the required docking ad aptor to support the model of
your Apple device.
The supplied adaptors in the iD100 package suit multiple
Apple products as below:
1. iPad
2. iPhone 3GS, and iPhone 3G
3. iPhone 4, iPod Touch (1st, 2nd, and 3rd generation),
and iPod Classic
4. iPod Nano (3rd, 4th, and 5th generation)
Apple device compatibility
The iD100 is able to communicate with and control the
following device models:
iPad
iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS, and iPhone 3G
iPod Touch (1st, 2nd, and 3rd generation)
iPod Classic
iPod Nano (3rd, 4th, and 5th generation)
Note:To prevent damaging the dock connector, do not twist
the device when inserting it or removing it.
5. Dock connector
Gently insert the device into the dock. Excessive force may
damage the connector.
