Custom Color

Choose the desired level of image contrast, sharpness, color saturation, red, green, blue, and skin tones in a range of 1 – 5.

1Access the setting screen.

zzFollow the steps in “Changing Image

Color Tones (My Colors)” (=76) to choose [], and then press the <n> button.

2Configure the setting.

zzPress the <o><p> buttons to choose an option, and then specify the value by pressing the <q><r> buttons.

zzFor stronger/more intense effects (or darker skin tones), adjust the value to the right, and for weaker/lighter effects (or lighter skin tones), adjust the value to the left.

zzPress the <n> button to complete the setting.

You can also specify a value by touching or dragging the bar.

Shooting Range and Focusing

Still Images

Shooting Close-Ups (Macro)

To restrict the focus to subjects at close range, set the camera to [e]. For details on the focusing range, see “Shooting Range” (=204).

zzPress the <q> button, press the <q><r> buttons to choose [e], and then press the <m> button.

zzOnce the setting is complete, [e] is displayed.

If the flash fires, vignetting may occur.

With the AF frame mode set to [Face AiAF], using Touch Shutter returns the camera to [].

To prevent camera shake, try mounting the camera on a tripod and shooting with the camera set to [[] (=38).

You can also configure this setting by pressing the <q> button, touching [e], and then touching it again.
