Remove the scanner cartridge from its packaging.
Insert the scanner cartridge.
Set the paper thickness lever to the right.
❍Handle the scanner cartridge carefully.
❍Do not touch the scanning head area.
❍Hold the scanner cartridge by the ridges on either side of the cartridge.
❍Set the scanner cartridge into the holder, and lower the blue lock lever.
❍The thickness lever must be set to the right (for thick paper, envelopes) so you can feed the carrier sheet provided with the Scanner Cartridge.
