Cleaning the Print Head Using the Operator Panel
If you want to clean the print head from the operator panel,follow these
steps:
❍Make sure the green POWERlight is on.
❍The POWER light will blink for several seconds while the
print head is being cleaned.
N❍Perform the print head cleaning only when you encounter a print
quality problem.Unnecessary and repetitious cleaning will waste
ink.
❍If you execute the print head cleaning while paper is manually
loaded,the pr inter will e ject the paper and then perform the
cleaning.
Press and hold the
RESUME button
for at least two
seconds until
the printer
beeps twice.
Make sure
the printer is
turned on.
