■To use the REC light to record a movie

1.In a REC mode, press [SET].

2.Use [S] and [T] to select the top option in the operation panel (Recording mode).

3.Use [W] and [X] to select “ (Movie)” or “ (MOVIE BEST SHOT)” and then press [SET].

4.Press [T] ( ) once.

5.Use [W] and [X] to select the setting you want, and then press [SET].

6.Press the shutter button to record the movie.

IMPORTANT!

•Never look directly into the AF assist/REC light/self-timer lamp or point it directly into the eyes of others.

•Never point the AF assist/REC light/self-timer lamp in the direction of a person who is operating a motor vehicle.

•The effectiveness of the REC light is reduced in the case of faraway subjects.

•Though the REC light can be use for illumination when shooting snapshots, the REC light does not illuminate the subject with the same brightness as the flash.
