
Using Motion Shutter to Trigger a Self-timer Operation (Motion Shutter)
With Motion Shutter the camera automatically triggers a
1.In the REC mode, touch the recording mode icon (page 29).
2.Touch “l” (Motion Shutter).
3.Drag “
” to the location in the image where you want movement to be detected.
4.When everything is ready, press the shutter button all the way down. Motion Shutter will go into standby to wait for trigger movement.
5.Facing the camera, move your hand or perform some other movement in the area of the icon you positioned in step 3.
When the camera detects subject movement within the framed area, it will automatically start a

•The trigger time of the Motion Shutter
•Motion Shutter exits standby automatically after it shoots six images.
•To cancel Motion Shutter standby at any time, press the shutter button.
•Motion Shutter may not operate properly when there is little difference in the color of the subject and the color of the background enclosed by the boundary, or when the subject is located far away from the camera, making it too small.
