Any applian ce that is not furn ished with a pow er supply cord but includes a set of cas ters mus t be provided with a tether. Ade qua te means must be provided to lim it the moveme nt of this appli ance without depending on or tran smitti ng stress to the electrical con duit. The foll owin g require ments appl y:
1.Cast ers must be a maximu m hei ght of 6" (152mm ).
2.Two of the cast ers must of be the locki ng type.
3.Such mobile appliances or appli ance s on mobi le stan ds must be installed with the use of a fle xible conne ctor secured to the building str uctu re.
A mou ntin g connector for a restrai ning devi ce is loca ted on the lower back fla nge of the appli ance chassis or on an oven stand , approx imate ly 18"
(457 mm) from the floor. A flex ible connector is not supplied or availa ble from the facto ry.
