Java Plug-in Requirements
Java Plug-in improves the performance of ACL Manager, and allows it to use the
latest Java runtime functionality. The plug-in caches Java applets and speeds up
the loading of the ACL Manager application.
Ensure that Java Plug-in version 1.3.1 is installed.

Installing Java Plug-in

See Chapter 3 of User Guide for CiscoWorks2000 Server, for instructions on
how to install Java Plug-in.
ACL Manager on Multi-homed Machines
ACL Manager 1.4 is supported on multi-homed machines (machines with
multiple Network Interface Cards (NICs), each configured with different IP
addresses).
To run ACL Manager on a multi-homed machine, there are two requirements:
All IP addresses must be configured in DNS.
Only one IP address can be used by the client/browser to a ccess
ACL Manager Server. This is an ACL Manager restriction.
To ensure that ACL Manager runs properly on multi-homed machines, you must
open and modify the gatekeeper configuration file. The file location is:
CiscoWorks2000 Installation Directory\lib\vbroker\gatekeeper.cfg, on
Windows.
/opt/CSCOpx/lib/vbroker/gatekeeper.cfg, on Solaris.
It is recommended that you back up the gatekeeper configuration file before
modifying it.
