Configuring MIB Data Collection and Transfer

Beginning in privileged EXEC mode, follow these steps to configure a bulk-statistics object list and
schema options:
Step 3 access-list access-list-number {deny |
permit} source [source-wildcard]Create a standard access list, repeating the command as many times
as necessary.
For access-list-number, enter the access list number specified
in Step 2.
The deny keyword denies access if the conditions are matched.
The permit keyword permits access if the conditions are
matched.
For source, enter the IP address of the TFTP servers that can
access the switch.
(Optional) For source-wildcard, enter the wildcard bits, in
dotted decimal notation, to be applied to the source. Place ones
in the bit positions that you want to ignore.
Recall that the access list is always terminated by an implicit deny
statement for everything.
Step 4 end Return to privileged EXEC mode.
Step 5 show running-config Verify your entries.
Step 6 copy running-config startup-config (Optional) Save your entries in the configuration file.

Step 2 snmp-server mib bulkstat object-list
list-name Define an SNMP bulk-statistics object list, and enter bulk-statistics
object-list configuration mode.
Step 3 add {object-name | oid} Add a MIB object to the bulk-statistics object list.
For object-name, enter the name of the MIB object to add to the
list. You can enter only object names from the Interfaces MIB
or the Cisco Committed Access Rate MIB.
For oid, enter the Object ID of the MIB object to add to the list.
All the objects in an object-list must be in the same MIB index, but
the objects need not belong to the same MIB table. Repeat the
command until all objects to be monitored are added.
Step 4 exit Return to global configuration mode.
Step 5 snmp-server mib bulkstat schema
schema-name Name the SNMP bulk statistics schema, and enter bulk-statistics
schema configuration mode.
