4-2. How to Connect DC power to DVR unit

4-2-1. When Installing the DVR in a Vehicle

Cut out the DC jack on the provided DC power wires as shown in Fig.4-1, and then connect wires as follows.

GROUND: Connect the BLACK colored wire to vehicle’s chassis (Do not connect it to the gas tank or the airbag area).

DC 9V TO 40V (HOT): Connect the RED colored wire to the DC power line that supplies DC 12V or DC 24V when ignition switch is in the “ON” position.
