Loading a Memory Card
The camcorder records to SD, SDHC, or MMC memory cards (maximum 32 GB).
Load a memory card by insert- ing it into the memory card slot on the top of the camcorder (remove the protective cover to access the slot). Make sure to load the card in the direction indicated by the marking on the camcorder. Press the memory card into the slot until it clicks into place.
Learn how to turn the camcorder on.
Learn how to change between movie, photo, and review modes.
To remove the memory card, press it further into
the slot and then release. The card will spring
out of the slot.
To avoid data corruption, turn off the camcorder before loading or removing a memory card. Do not attempt to place any object other than a compatible memory card into the memory card slot. Compatible cards should slide easily into the memory card slot; if you en- counter resistance, do not attempt to force the card in.
Avoid touching the metal contacts of the memory card.
