software such as iTunes, Winamp, or Windows Media
Player, please refer to their documentation for support.
Do not disconnect or other wise inte rrupt the player
during transmis sion—this could damage or cor rupt
the player’s rmware or your les. If the player is ac-
cidentally disconnec ted and is not working properly,
try resetting the player.
Content owner s use Windows Media digital rights
management techno logy (W MDRM) t o protect their
intellectual property, including copyright s. This device
uses WMDRM soft ware to access WMDRM-prote ct-
ed content. If the WMDRM software fails to protect
the content, content owner s may ask Microsof t to re-
voke the software’s abili ty to use WM DRM to play or
copy protected content. Revocation does not affe ct
unprotected content. When you download licenses for
protected content, you ag ree that Microsoft may in-
clude a revocation list with the licenses. Content own-
ers may require you to upgrade WM DRM to ac cess
their content. If you decline an upgrade, you will not
be able to access content that requi res the upgrade.
