Pull up on tongues to be sure they are locked.
Insert buckle tongues into buckle (fig. b). You should hear a click.
2 Unbuckle harness - Press red release button on buckle and pull tongues out of buckle.
3 Place infant in car seat with back and rump contacting seating surfaces.
4 Place harness straps over child’s shoulders and thighs.

Securing infant in car seat:
1 Loosen harness - Insert finger under adjuster cover, press on harness adjustment lever, and pull harness straps out (fig. a).
