6Remove the strainer from its housing.

7Inspect the strainer for holes or blinding, clean or replace as necessary.

8Re-install the strainer and strainer cap. Properly seal all piping with approved Teflon tape or pipe dope.

IMPORTANT: Check to ensure the strainer is properly seated before applying the strainer cap. Crushing of the strainer can occur if it is not fully inserted back into the strainer housing.
