System Phone Book

Phone Book: Here you can manage the system phone book common to all FXO ports. When any of the ports dial the number to make an outgoing call, it is checked if there is any phone book entry corresponding to that number. If entry is found then the call is placed to that destination.

This page shows the list of entries which are currently configured. You can add, delete, or modify the phone book entries. A maximum of 10 entries can be created. Before configuring the phone book entry, the required destinations should be added in the destination table.

Edit: Click on the Edit icon to modify the existing phone book entry. The corresponding values will be loaded in Phone Number text box and “Destination” drop down list will show the current configured destination for that entry. You can modify any of the two fields and click Update button to apply the changes. At any time you can click on Cancel button to discard the changes.

Delete: Click on the Delete icon to remove the existing phone book entry.

Add New: To add a new phone book entry the “Phone Number” text box should be empty. Click the Cancel button if it is not empty. Enter a valid phone number and select a destination from drop down menu and click on Add button to create new phone book entry.

Phone Number: This is the number which users will dial to place call to this phone book entry.

Destination: This is the drop down list of configured destinations. Select a destination entry for this phone book configuration.
