30 Replacing the LED Board

Procedure

1Slide the LED board into the tabs on the computer base.

2Adhere the LED-board cable on the computer base and fan.

3Slide the LED-board cable into the system-board connector and press down on the connector latch to secure the cable.

Postrequisites

1Follow the instructions from step 4 to step 6 in "Replacing the Hard Drive" on page 55.

2Replace the battery. See "Replacing the Battery" on page 33.

3Replace the palm rest. See "Replacing the Palm Rest" on page 29.

4Replace the keyboard. See "Replacing the Keyboard" on page 25.

5Replace the base cover. See "Replacing the Base Cover" on page 19.

6Follow the instructions in "After Working Inside Your Computer" on page 11.
