52 | Removing the Display Assembly

Procedure

1Peel off the tape, lift the latch, and disconnect the display cable from the system

board.

2Disconnect the camera cable from the system board.

3Peel the tape off the camera cable.

4Note the camera cable routing and remove the cable from the routing guides on

the palm-rest assembly.

5Remove the screws that secure the display hinges to the palm-rest assembly.
