Removing the USB Board

Prerequisites
1Remove the base cover. See "Removing the Base Cover" on page 10.
2Remove the battery. See "Removing the Battery" on page 12.
3Remove the hard-drive. See "Removing the Hard Drive" on page 16.
4Remove the wireless card. See"Removing the Wireless Card" on page 19.
5Remove the keyboard. See "Removing the Keyboard" on page 21.
6Remove the bottom cover. See "Removing the Bottom Cover" on page 25.
Procedure
1Peel off the tape that secures the USB-board cable to the USB board.
2Lift the latch and disconnect the USB-board cable from the USB board.
3Lift the USB board off the palm-rest assembly.
