Replacing the Keyboard

Procedure

1Slide the keyboard and keyboard-backlit cables into the system board and press down the connector latches to secure the cables.

2Carefully turn the keyboard over, slide the tabs on the keyboard into the slots on the palm-rest assembly, and snap the keyboard into place.

3Close the display and turn the computer over.

4Replace the screw that secures the keyboard to the palm-rest assembly.
