Når Dell Diagnostics skal brukes

Har du problemer med datamaskinen, utfør kontrollene under "Problemer med programvare og at datamaskinen henger" på side 110 og kjør Dell Diagnostics før du tar kontakt med Dell for teknisk bistand.

Det anbefales at du skriver ut disse instruksjonene før du setter i gang.

ADVARSEL: Dell Diagnostics fungerer bare på datamaskiner fra Dell™.

MERKNAD: CD-en Drivers and Utilities er ekstra tilbehør og følger derfor ikke med alle datamaskiner.

Start Dell Diagnostics enten fra harddisken eller fra CD-en Drivers and Utilities (også kalt ResourceCD).

Starte Dell Diagnostics fra harddisken

Dell Diagnostics ligger på en skjult partisjon for diagnostikk på harddisken.

MERKNAD: Hvis datamaskinen ikke kan vise noe skjermbilde, ta kontakt med Dell, se "Contacting Dell" (kontakte

Dell) i brukerhåndboken.

1Slå av datamaskinen.

2Hvis datamaskinen er koblet til en dokkenhet, frakoble dokkenheten. Du finner mer informasjon i dokumentasjonen som fulgte med dokkenheten.

3Koble datamaskinen til nettstrøm.

4Diagnosetesting kan startes på en av følgende to måter:

a Slå på datamaskinen. Når DELL™-logoen kommer til syne, trykk umiddelbart på <F12>. Velg Diagnostics (diagnostikk) fra oppstartsmenyen, og trykk på <Enter>.

MERKNAD: Hvis du venter for lenge, slik at logoen for operativsystemet vises, fortsett med å vente inntil du ser Microsoft Microsoft® Windows ®-skrivebordet. Slå deretter av datamaskinen og prøv på nytt.

bTrykk på og hold nede <Fn>-tasten mens du slår på datamaskinen.

MERKNAD: Hvis du får en melding om at ingen partisjon med diagnoseverktøy er blitt funnet, kjør Dell Diagnostics fra CD-en Drivers and Utilities.
