La instalación y las reparaciones debenserrealizadasporunaperso- na de servicio calificada. El calen- tador debe ser inspeccionado por una persona de servicio calificada antes de usarse y por lo menos una vez al año. Es posible que se requiera limpiarlo más frecuente- mente, según sea necesario. Es imprescindible mantener limpios loscompartimientos,losquemado- res y los conductos de circulación de aire del calentador.

PRECAUCIÓN: se debe usar el regulador de presión de gas incluido con este aparato. Este regulador está configurado para una presión de salida de 2.74 kPa (11" de c.a.).

Peligro de asfixia

No utilice este calentador en viviendas ocupadas por personas o animales.

No se use en áreas sin ventilación.

No debe obstruirse el flujo del aire de ventilación y de combustión.

Se debe tener la ventilación adecuada de aire para cumplir con los requisitos de aire para combustión del calentador que se esté usando.

Consulte la sección Especificaciones, en la página 2, la placa de datos del ca- lentador o comuníquese con DESA Hea- ting, LLC para determinar los requisitos de ventilación de aire para combustión del calentador.

La falta de ventilación adecuada de aire producirá una combustión incorrecta.

La combustión incorrecta puede pro- vocar envenenamiento por monóxido de carbono que conduzca a lesiones graves o a la muerte. Los síntomas de envenenamiento por monóxido de car- bono pueden incluir dolores de cabeza, mareos y dificultad para respirar.

Desempaque del calentador

1.Extraiga con cuidado el material de em- paque de la caja.

2.Extraiga con cuidado los componentes del calentador de la caja. Inspeccione las piezas en busca de posibles daños du- rante el transporte. Si encuentra alguno, notifique inmediatamente al distribuidor.

3.Compruebe que todos los componentes vengan incluidos con el calentador (con- sulte las páginas 14 y 15).
