6.Si encuentra alguna fuga, cierre la válvula del cilindro de propano o gas LP y retire la conexión que tiene fuga. Revise y limpie la conexión. Vuelva a conectar el regula- dor y revise nuevamente si hay fugas.

IMPORTANTE: en las nuevas instalaciones o cambios de rutina del cilindro de gas. Se debe purgar el aire del sistema antes de cada uso. Gire la perilla de control a la posición de piloto. Presione y mantenga presionada la perilla durante 30 ó 40 segundos antes de tratar de encender el piloto.

PARA ENCENDER

1.Cierre la válvula principal de suministro de gas en el cilindro de gas propano. Coloque la perilla de control en la posición de apagado. Espere 5 minutos.

2.Abra la válvula principal de suministro de gas en el cilindro de gas propano.

3.Gire la perilla de control del calentador a la posición de piloto. Presione y manténgala presionada durante 5 segundos. Presione el botón del encendedor hasta que el pilo- to se encienda. Mantenga presionada la válvula de control del calentador durante 30 segundos y luego suéltela.

IMPORTANTE: es posible que se produzcan emisiones de humo y olor (no olor a gas) den- tro de los primeros 30 minutos de uso. Haga funcionar el calentador a una temperatura alta durante al menos 30 minutos para eliminar este problema.

ADVERTENCIA: si percibe olor a gas mientras el quemador está en uso, inmediatamente presione y gire la perilla a la po- sición de apagado para apagar el calentador.

PARA APAGAR

1.Gire la perilla de control a la posición de apagado.

2.Cierre el suministro principal de gas.

3.Espere 5 minutos antes de volver a en- cender el calentador.

PRECAUCIÓN: no trate de deslizar la cubierta de mirilla cuando el quemador principal se esté encendiendo, esté fun- cionando o esté caliente.

4.PARA ENCENDER EL PILOTO CON UN FÓSFORO: gire la cubierta de mirilla de encendido con fósforo. Aplique la llama al quemador del piloto mientras mantiene presionada la perilla por 20 segundos o hasta que el piloto permanezca encendi- do cuando se suelte la perilla.

5.La perilla ya puede ser colocada en la posición de encendido.
