FAQ

What should I do if the ignitor button doesn't spark at the pilot?

Check if the ignitor electrode is connected to the ignitor cable, if the cable is pinched or wet, or if the piezo ignitor nut is loose. Follow the remedy provided in the table for each possible cause.

Why does the pilot light but the flame goes out when the control knob is released?

Possible causes include the gas control knob not fully pressed in, not pressed in long enough, or the pilot flame not touching the thermocouple. Check the remedy provided in the table for each possible cause.

How can I ensure proper maintenance of the pilot assembly?

Refer to the Cleaning and Maintenance section on page 28 of the manual for instructions on how to clean or replace the pilot assembly.
