Immediately call your gas supplier from a neighbor’s phone. Follow the gas supplier’s instructions.

What should I do if I smell gas?

If you smell gas, shut off the gas supply, do not try to light any appliance, do not touch any electrical switch, and immediately call your gas supplier or the fire department for instructions.

Why does the fireplace produce unwanted odors?

Unwanted odors could be caused by a gas leak. Locate and correct all leaks as per the manual instructions on pages 19 and 20.

How can I prevent the fireplace from shutting off in high winds?

The fireplace has been tested for up to 40mph winds. However, extreme conditions may occur. See the lighting instructions on page 26 for more information.
