Descaling procedure

The water purifier needs to be descaled every 3 months during continuous use. Descaling agent can be ordered from your dealer, see “Consumable parts”.

.Empty the water purifier, see section “Draining”.

.Remove the filter.

.Mix about half a bottle (50 g) of descaling agent in a jug containing 2 dl lukewarm water and stir until fully dissolved. Pour into the filter housing, see fig. J, and fill up with water.

.Refit the filter housing lid and the top cover and switch on the current to the water purifier using the safety switch in the central electrical unit.

.Open the shut off valve on the inlet hose and start the purifier by pressing the ON/Off button.

.Open the cold-water tap and produce water for about 5 seconds so that the agent goes into the purifier. Close the tap.

Water containing descaling agent will be produced. This water must not be drunk.

.Allow the descaling agent to work for about 10 minutes.

.Open the cold-water tap for at least 1 minute to flush the water purifier.

.Empty the water purifier, see section “Draining”.

.Put the filter back.

.Refit the filter lid and the top cover and switch on the current to the water purifier using the safety switch in the central electrical unit.

.Open the shut off valve on the inlet hose and start the purifier by pressing the ON/OFF button.

.Allow the water purifier to flush pure water to the drain for about 5 minutes. This will remove any traces of descaling agent.

.Close the tap.
